Connect Linear to Teaminal
To connect Linear to Teaminal, visit the integrations page and click on the “Add Linear Integration” button.
After you connect, Teaminal will map Linear users to Teaminal users based on email address. If you have users in Linear that aren’t in Teaminal, they won’t be connected.
Standups with Linear
With Linear connected, when you post a status update to Teaminal, your recently closed tasks will be shown alongside the update. You can click on the task name to open it in Linear.
Retros with Linear
Similar to status updates, when a team retro is created, the team’s recently closed tasks will be shown alongside the retro. You can click on the task name to open it in Linear.
Teaminal Linear Settings
There’s no customization available for the Linear integration, so there’s no settings page.
Troubleshooting
Resetting your connection
If your Linear connection isn’t working properly, try removing and adding the connection back again. None of your existing data will be affected.
To do that, visit the Integrations page and click on the “Remove Linear Integration” button. When the page reloads, click on the “Add Linear Integration” button.
